Hermann Schaper (1853-1911) was a German painter and interior designer. The main work is his designs for the magnificent mosaics in the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church (unveiled in 1906). Oil on panel depicting the interior of a cathedral. Signed lower left and dated 1888. 27 x 20 in.
