Joseph Josiah Dodd was a British printmaker, painter and draughtsman. Between 1832 and 1839 Dodd exhibited nine paintings at the Royal Academy in London and four at the Suffolk Street Gallery. Although he produced most of his work in England, he lived and painted in Paris from 1838 to 1839. Dodd was named ‘Painter in Water Colours to their Royal Highnesses the Duchess of Kent & the Princess Victoria.’ [1]
